Daniel C. Herzak, CPIA
Account Executive
Daniel graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. His insurance career began as a personal lines underwriter for Grange Mutual Companies in Columbus, Ohio. While there, Dan oversaw territories in Michigan and worked directly with nearly 30 agencies on a daily basis. He helped increase the state’s direct written premium by $15 million before leaving to join Insurance Systems.
He began his sales career in college working as an intern for a steel distributor where he was responsible for producing and developing leads for sales associates. During this time, he studied sales techniques under the Sandler Sales Institute.
He Joined Insurance Systems in 2007 as an Account Executive and Director of the Personal Insurance Division. Dan manages the growth and profitability of this division and has a team of customer service agents reporting directly to him.
Dan received his Certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) in 2007. He is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association and the Insurance Board of Northern Ohio. In February of 2008, Dan received the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation sponsored by American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society (AIMS) in Richmond, Virginia. He is currently a candidate for the Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) designation.
He is an active member in the Orthodox church and is a life-long member of Archangel Michael Orthodox Church in Broadview Heights, Ohio. Dan is also a dedicated member of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America (FOCA).
